The website introduces a general audience to places, people, events, concepts, objects, and artistic representations that are key to understanding Istanbul’s historical and contemporary culture/s. The site’s content is freely available online under a CC BY-SA 4.0 DEED license to any university or individuals who wish to use or adapt it.
